📚 Legal Responsibility of Minors: Exploring Together with Students
We held an engaging session with 10th-grade students of the Ukrainian Medical Lyceum of Bogomolets National Medical University together with the team of lawyers and psychologists from the Siviora Charitable Foundation. We discussed serious matters in an accessible way — what legal responsibility is and how it applies to minors.
🧠 What we discussed and tried:
✔️ Understood what legal responsibility means and the types of legal responsibility that exist
✔️ Learned who enforces legal responsibility and what liability arises for offenses
✔️ Through the interactive exercise “How Not to Fall into a Fraudster’s Trap”, helped students see the difference between various types of legal responsibility
✔️ Through the psychological exercise “Court of Emotions vs. Court of Law”, students saw why defined procedures for holding someone accountable are necessary
💬 The students asked questions, shared their thoughts, and even initiated mini-debates! Such interest is the best reward for us.
Many thanks to the Lyceum for the invitation and for the opportunity to talk with teenagers about what truly matters 💙
